Thanks to popular demand, this video is all about addressing the topic of solar-powered EVs. With my majority off-grid lifestyle, I have run the numbers and will reveal what kind of losses come into effect when using solar power to effectively charge an electric vehicle, in this case the Ford F-150 Lightning. Though my home setup is able to harness about 12,000 watt/hours of energy, there are a ton of variables that shrink the usable power down to levels that may or may not be enough to juice your car.
