Welcome back to Space Weather News, your ultimate daily source for all things related to space weather phenomena. From solar flares to cosmic storms, we're here to keep you informed about the captivating events occurring in our celestial neighborhood.

In the past 24 hours, our observations have revealed intriguing developments. Solar activity remained at low levels, featuring minor C-class solar flares. Regions 3394 and 3395 exhibited subtle growth, while we marveled at two coronal mass ejections (CMEs). The first, a breathtaking halo CME, graced our screens around 09/1600 UTC. The second, originating from the southwest limb around 10/0300 UTC, is linked to an awe-inspiring C5 flare from Region 3398. Luckily, Earth is in no immediate danger from these cosmic displays.

Looking ahead, we're excited to share that there's a potential for M-class solar flares on August 10th. Region 3387, positioned just beyond the solar limb, has our attention as it teases a cosmic spectacle.

Energetic particles continue to captivate us. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remains near the Minor S1 threshold of 10 pfu, while the greater than 2 MeV electron flux achieved a peak at 1770 pfu around 09/1730 UTC.

Solar wind speeds have gracefully returned to their tranquil background levels, remaining below 400 km/s. The total magnetic field fluctuates within a harmonious range of 2-7 nT, and the North-South magnetic component (Bz) maintains its delicate balance within +/- 5 nT. Meanwhile, the magnetic orientation, Phi, continues its dance, leaning towards the negative.

Geomagnetic activity remained mostly serene, with only isolated unsettled periods adding a touch of cosmic excitement.

Join us on August 10th as we anticipate quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions. And remember, your support makes a world of difference to us.
