In today's video I will show you how I installed some metal roofing over the top of some existing shingles on my home. During this video I will be covering a lot of different steps such as, installing boots at the base of the pipes, installing furring strips for the metal roofing to attach to, installing drip edge, valley flashing and ridge cap, Installing some foam board insulation in between the furring strips, and I will also cover how to replace an existing skylight with a flush mount design to make it more compatible for metal roofing.
